Les Kaufman RIP

Today, in a few hours, will be the funeral of Les Kaufman, the greatest philosopher I have ever known.
I met Donna Holstein in 1970, at Diana stores, North Bergen, New Jersey and we’ve been close friends ever since.
She married Les in 1973 and I recall them both coming to Leeds, where we saw Paul McCartney and Wings at the University 45 years ago next Sunday.Les, I hope you’re watching down at the the US presidential news and hoping that Trump meets his Waterloo.

They also came over to the UK when I married Danila in 1976, and we all spent many holidays together in Italy and the US.
More recently Les took Lynne and I over to NYNY for a winter holiday.

His advice was wholesome, pithy, but endearing.
I remember when a bully recently accused me of hitting him.
I told Les, saying that I wanted to represent myself in court. He immediately advised that when you represent yourself you will have a fool for a client.

I rang Donna last night and we cried together.
He was a man of peace and love and will be sorely missed.

And incidentally, Les, if you can arrange a one day pass from St Peter on July 25th, I’ll see you in the Magistrates court in Blackburn Lancashire.  Now how many holes are there?

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
