I have a Dream…

Chicago born Bishop Michael Curry stole the show at yesterday’s royal wedding of Meghan and Harry, constructing a sermon from a theme of Solomon, the wisest of the ancients, that “Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it out”.

One of the first quotes he referred to was of Martin Luther King, assassinated in 1968, who said “We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we discover that, we will be able to make of this old world a new world. Love is the only way.”

The Bishop and the late great Martin Luther King may have taken their cue from the Beatles’ “All you need is Love”, for their speeches reflected this pop song.

In the long run, I have a dream, that love trumps everything. Including Trump.

Listen again to the speech of Michael Curry.
Harry and Meghan have a greater opportunity to change the world for the better than most.

At this stage I am convinced they will try.

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
