So this is Christmas

My darling son
37 years ago today you were born at UCH.
Let’s hope the anniversary is a good one, without any tears.
I cried a few when I first realised that I’d forgotten that today was the day.
John Lennon and you are linked forever.
Because of my affinity with the Beatles in particular, and Lennon in particular, I wanted to call you John.
Mummy thought John was far too common a name, so you became Jonathan Lennon Armstrong.
A beautiful compromise.
Merry Christmas darling, wherever you are.
I’ve been trying to get the adjacent photo printed as a poster in time to give you when we meet on Boxing Day, but am experiencing difficulties, to do with the pixels of the words, and the definition of the jpg.
Can you send me a better jpeg? Happy Birthday XXX

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
