Land of Hope and Glory

Did Jesus really walk on England’s green hills?
And was the holy lamb of God seen in Newcastle or Sheffield?
Was Jerusalem built in Salford or Leytonstone?
Possibly not, because Google didn’t even recognise these two townships.

What a wonderfully pompous event the Last Night at the Proms is, and how good to see the many European Union flags at the event.

It’ll be a less pleasant land if the UK pulls out of  Europe.

My sons are half Italian, my daughter lives in France, and my mother’s grandmother was a German. We are all mongrels, and I think we won’t decide to pull out of Europe.
Instead, we will make the UK a force for Hope and Glory in the world.
Let’s all say Hallelujah.

Amen.

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
