Theresa May Snubs Grenfell Tower Survivors

It’s sad, disgraceful, but predictable that PM Theresa May refused to meet the survivors of one of the worst fire tragedies in London since World War 2.
On a day when Prince William embraced a survivor of the Grenfell tragedy the PM decided to avoid them.

Sad because any loss of life requires a compassionate response.
Even that twerp I can’t stand, Jeremy Clarkson, sent a wardrobe of clothes to the (often near naked) survivors.
But Theresa kept her knicker drawer, and her mouth, tight shut.

Disgraceful because the need was great, and Theresa could have reached out a hand of empathy to the victims of a tragedy.
The Queen did, the Mayor of London did, and so did Jeremy Corbyn
But Mrs May didn’t.
Empathy does’t cost much, but Mrs May doesn’t have the emotional apparatus to enable her to do it.

It didn’t understand why it had anything to do with her view of the world.

Predictable because the victims were not Tory supporters.
Kensington and Chelsea is a mixed area, of rich and poor.
Some of these poor lived in Grenfell Tower.
