Mrs May played all the right notes…

In that iconic 1971 sketch when Eric Morecambe protested to Andre Previn that he’d played all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order he reminded me of Theresa May’s performance in last night’s TV debate with Jeremy Corbyn.

For Theresa was as clueless at talking as Eric was at piano playing.
She filled the space between full stops with sound bites that were neither offensive nor endearing, but which when added together spelt “gobbledygook”!

And yet she had the brass balls to claim that “as we all know the Labour Party figures don’t add up”.
The audience gasped!

“As we all know” is a line straight from the Donald Trump rule book of how to con people,
Say it with feeling and you feel you’re part of a mob. How reassuring!

She said many times has that there won’t be a general election until 2020, but all of a sudden she decides to call one on June 8th?
It costs not much less than £150 million to hold an election, as well a £50 million advertising spend!
If it’s not your money, so who cares?
Well I do, because when I read of cuts in the health, education, and policing budget in the Tory manifesto I can’t marry May’s proposals to the world I live in.
We should adopt a procedure as the Americans do where the election date is fixed, and not for the PM to decide when they want.
It costs £200 million each time – nearly the cost of 2 hospitals.

The audience laughed at her when she she said that “as we all know the Labour Party figures don’t add up”.

It’s no surprise.
Either you laugh or you have to cry.

And she does all this posturing dressed in a £1,000 designer outfit.
My word Mrs May.

How did you ever become a Brexiteer anyway?
You campaigned to remain in Europe until you saw a better career in switching.

My word Theresa.

My wife’s ex husband used to describe very bad people as “a waste of a good skin”.
Right now you’re on the borderline of being included in this ragbag.
