|A president from hell?
Tuesday 8 November 2016
At a very recent meeting of Trump supporters a man was
attacked for showing a sign “Republicans against Trump”
Bullying and discrimination, built on lies reached a peak in 2016. Although these negative words have existed since the dawn of time, in the past 50 years things have improved around the world, in the UK, and within local communities.
That’s not to say we can absorb a worldwide outbreak of peace, hope and goodwill, built on truth.
But this coming Tuesday the world will hold its breath as the USA electorate will decide who will be the most powerful individual on the planet.
I’ve seen enough of Trump to believe that if Americans choose him the world will become a place where anyone who disagrees with his view will be punished, if not by the law, by thugs.
Because media brings good and bad behaviour from anywhere in the world into our homes in seconds, I’m even more concerned.
