Everlasting Love

It was the mid to late 1960’s.

I regularly took a bus to the Wakefield Mecca dance hall, along with hundreds of other boys from different parts of south Yorkshire.
We all hoped we’d meet a girl who’d become the experience of a lifetime.

Sometimes it happened and for the next day I’d walk on air. This song reminds me much of those days. I danced a lot to it’s rhythm. 


The unfulfilled passion, the Double Diamond, and the dancing.
