Dear God
10 years ago today, terrorists wanting to change the world by tearing apart the London transport system, blowing up a London bus and nearby tube lines mirrored the events of 9/11 in New York, and caused spectacular disruption to a normal working day.
So what has to be done?
When a fox tears a chicken’s head off just for the fun of it we don’t smile, and when a pack of hounds do the same to a fox, most of us are not tickled pink.
I have a mug given to me by my son in New York telling me to “Keep Calm and put the
kettle on”
I want to.
But God, I’d like you to pitch in too.
Because if you don’t I can see this violence continuing, in London, Manhattan, and on beaches from Tunisia to Bali.
As gatekeeper of the world don’t you think you have a responsibility to stop this senselessness?
You created this world.
You ought to protect it from imploding.
