Decapitation at home

I love our cats.
They sleep on my thigh.
George rubs noses with me.
We have a loving white cat which the granddaughters christened Minnie. She licks everything in sight, 24×7.
A more loving being you would never wish to meet.
But yesterday she appeared at my office window with a baby rabbit hanging from her jaws.
The baby was playing dead which I’ve seen before.
Eventually the baby bunny escapes, and I guess the warren party all night.

But this time I waved my finger critically at Minnie, and off she ran, rabbit still lovingly clenched between her teeth.

Roll forward an hour.
I later walked outside to see a decapitated bunny. No sign of the head.

Was it Minnie?
A nearby fox?
Or our next door neighbour.

Minnie is a snow white cat.
Surely if it was her there would be blood around her mouth.
The fox is rarely out during daylight.
And Andy had the day off.

The jury is still out.
