Ross Barkley – England’s man of the tournament?

If England make headway in the World Cup, Ross Barkley could well become the star of the show.
Undoubtedly he has more talent in his boots than anyone in Brazil bar Pele, as anyone who saw him grace the ranks of Sheffield Wednesday, when he was on loan from Everton last year, will testify.
By bringing grace to the broad acres he has joined the ranks of our Sachin (Tendulkar) Glaswegian James Herriot and of course Omar Sharif as honorary Yorkshiremen. Stars to a man.

Late on Saturday night England play Italy, a match with 0-0 written all over it.
But that prediction is without taking the magical qualities of Barkley into consideration.
Cometh the hour, cometh the man.

They think it’s all over…
