Typhoon Haiyan

Mammy and Lou Reed, and countless others went to to pastures new this year.
In fact 56 million people die every year. That’s a lot of new inhabitants of Heaven, though we are told that Heaven has many rooms, all en suite.

I pray that the many thousands killed in the recent Philippine floods will have been given priority at Heaven’s reception desk.

Around 10,000 people  have died in just one area of the Philippines hit by Typhoon Haiyan.

Look at the helplessness of this child and weep.

One of the worst storms on record, Typhoon Haiyan destroyed homes, schools and an airport in the eastern city of Tacloban.
