Happy Birthday Lynne. Happy St Patrick’s Day.

Happy Birthday Lynne, March 17.

And a Happy St Patrick’s Day to everyone else.

To celebrate the day we’ll be at a Dubliner’s concert in Manchester on Paddy’s Day.

The Dubliners began 50 years ago, in 1962, and I feature the Irish song “The Irish Rover”,  as an improbable journey of Irish immigrants in the 19th century to New York. The song is a duet with The Pogues (but who are they?).

We’ll have Irish Stew and Guinness before the concert, and thanks to a birthday gift from  Lynne’s daughter we’ll stay over in the refurbished Salford Quays in  Manchester and revel there into the early morning.
I’m looking forward to this though I’m normally asleep by 10.30 pm.

The Irish are a people who have spread throughout the globe and retained their camaraderie despite the discrimination that is always aimed at immigrants, be they Jewish, Pakistani, or any other minority.

When discrimination can be conducted by something like skin colour, bone structure, sexuality, religion , or language it ‘s much easier practiced. What a shame!

It’s a sad world we live in that we are so stupid that we see no further than skin colour, bone structure, sexuality, religion or language! Why not penis size, eye colour, or hair thickness?

There are of course idiots for whom these are important too.

Mama mia!
What cretins.

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
