|Ukraine supporters – more lumpen than most|
From the Crimea in the south, up towards Poland in the North west and Russia and Moscow in the north east, Ukraine is possibly the biggest country in Europe, and with 46 million citizens, is a far cry from playing the Isle of Man, England’s last World Cup opponents.
Against this sterner opposition, but with the backing of a melodious if monotonous Sheffield Wednesday band, England look well equipped (despite conceding a first halg goal) to beat Ukraine en route to their eventual dismissal from the World Cup in the Quarter Finals.
No matter where the World Cup is, you can bet your life savings on England getting to the Quarter Finals.
But, alas, you should bet no further. If you do you’ll lose your shirt, as well as your life savings.
