The party’s over
So England are coming home.
There are 3 reasons why we lost to Italy:
1. We should teach our children to play with a greater accent on ball control. We don’t cultivate our children’s talents, but instead encourage bruisers to kick and rush.
2. There are far too many foreigners in the Premiership. We should cut back on them, and give English talent a chance to blossom.
3. The Italians wanted to cheat. They shouldn’t be allowed to.
FIFA should embrace technology. Computers should be able to decide when a ball goes over any line, and who kicked it. They should also decided when someone is offside, and where a wall has to be positioned.
And we should change the penalties competition, which England have never been good at. What was wrong with tossing a coin?
