God Save Our Giggling Queen

Our giggling Queen inspects her husband

Dear Jonathan and Alice
Yesterday my wife received a first class letter  from Buckingham Palace . It wasn’t the first time that SW1 had replied to a letter Lynne had written, for she’d sent the Queen’s  mother a letter in the late 1990’s to say that Aunty Lizzie was very poorly and that since she was very close in age to the Queen Mum perhaps she could acknowledge her.

Aunty Lizzie never did make her 100th birthday but the reply was read to her, and cheered her up.

The same could be said of the Queen’s recent visit to Accrington, which led to a letter of thanks by Lynne and a subsequent letter dropping through our letterbox yesterday. They both brought cheer, and in the recession we’re now living through that’s welcome.

As we anticipate this royal bank holiday we should all raise a glass (do you know that her favourite tipple is 33% gin and 66% Dubonnet?) to our giggling queen.

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
