Thank God for Pudsey

More than half the families in Britain have a pet, and more than likely they all voted for Pudsey in the BGT finals last Saturday. Pets are a humanising influence on adults and children, and it was heart warming to witness the loving relationship between Pudsey and his owner, Ashleigh.
For the record Pudsey is it’s thought, half Border Collie, a quarter Bichon Frise, and a quarter Chinese Crested.
We have a beautiful black cat called George, who we bought at an RSPCA rescue centre. He has a beautiful nature but one problem – he can’t retract his claws. This was too much for his previous owners, who dumped him on the road side.
Well now he has a good home and a loving family, as well as a few armchairs that look the worst for George’s attention. There are many pets who are abused and neglected as George was, but equally there are many who are loved as much as George and the very talented Pudsey.
Incidently, when he’s not sleeping George plays violin and rides a motorbike.
Thank God for Pudsey, George and pets everywhere.
