Anti Social Neighbours

A beautiful day today. Blue skies, mild temperature. A day to get the washing on the line, and dream of the warmer days ahead.

How awful it was therefore when dense, smelly, irritant causing and carcinogenic  smoke drifts through open windows.

To top it all, the washing already on the line is now in need of another wash!

My mind turned to yesterday, when I read a Facebook post from my prospective son in law, complaining that he had been annoyed by his next door neighbour’s angle grinder. I saw the funny side of his distress.

But now I’m on the receiving end of anti social behaviour, and I’m not laughing.

Why do people not talk to their neighbours before they would like to do something that is likely to aggravate them?

Are they selfish, and don’t care?
Are they oblivious to their neighbour’s peace of mind?
Perhaps they simply want to annoy.

The most worrying explanation is the last.

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
