We love you too, Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston is yet another sweet voice to have died prematurely.

It’s happened a lot in my life – Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, John Lennon, Keith Green, Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson – all gone before the 3 score and 10 that we know to be the normal life span.

For all these creative lives public adoration was a complication, and their death leaves the world much poorer.

I read today that heaven will be richer for her sweet voice joining its throngs.

Whitney Houston has is in the top draw. These are the words in the song most associated with her – especially on Valentines Day, one day in the year when we remember the importance of love:

If I should stay,
I would only be in your way.
So I’ll go, but I know
I’ll think of you ev’ry step of the way.

And I will always love you.
I will always love you.
You, my darling you. Hmm.

Bittersweet memories
that is all I’m taking with me.
So, goodbye. Please, don’t cry.
We both know I’m not what you, you need.

And I will always love you.
I will always love you.

(Instrumental solo)

I hope life treats you kind
And I hope you have all you’ve dreamed of.
And I wish to you, joy and happiness.
But above all this, I wish you love.

And I will always love you.
I will always love you.
I will always love you.
I will always love you.
I will always love you.
I, I will always love you.

You, darling, I love you.
Ooh, I’ll always, I’ll always love you.

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
