Forget the snow. Sing a long a Max

What weather! This morning my nephew Stephen emailed me to say he had seen snow outside his flat – in Ramsgate! Global warming or not, snow on the coast in south east England is  unusual.

Look at the sheep photographed in Kent.. What a necklace!

Equally distressed, prospective stepson Dennis announced on Facebook that he is stuck in Amsterdam, unsure that the weather would allow him to fly back to Lancashire to be with Claire this weekend.

To cap it all my wife is beside herself with grief that Minnie (her cat) is out in the snow and as she’s a white cat she can’t be seen running down the lane.

In the coming week the temperature is forecast to range between 0° and -8°. On the other hand a Mahesh, a friend in Mangalore phoned for a chat this afternoon. It’s currently 35° in South West India.

Never mind, as we look beyond the freeze there’s always the immortal words of Max Bygraves.

When it’s Spring again I’ll bring again…….

Tulips from Amsterdam

With a heart thats true I’ll give to you
Tulips from Amsterdam
I can’t wait until the day you fill
These eager arms of mine
Like the windmill keeps on turning
That’s how my heart keeps on yearning
For the day I know we can share these
Tulips from Amsterdam

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
